PTV Sports is a famous Sports channel of Pakistan, managed by PTV Network. Its test transmission started on Asia Sat on December 2011. PTV Sports was officially launched on January 14, 2012.

PTV Sports owned by the government of Pakistan. This sports channel has broadcast many sports event live in Pakistan and world since it is started.
PTV Sports got the rights of many sports events like cricket, hockey, football and tennis. It has also rights of all events of Pakistan cricket till 2016 like ICC world cup 2015 and all other major ICC events.It will also live telecast the Olympics 2016 and PTV Sports also have the rights of all men and women events of International Hockey federation (FIH).

PTV Sports is the first sports channel to telecast the Barclay’s Premier League matches live in Pakistan. They started broadcasting Barclay’s Premier League live in 2012, with a special program “Talking Premier League” featuring Ali Tayyab as host and Osman Malik, Qutub Mulla and Khurram Suleman as experts.
